What makes Gherardini products better than others available
on the market?
Our traditional family recipes are mixed
with only the freshest and healthiest ingredients available in
the United States. Our products, unlike some of our competitors,
contain no additives, emulsifiers, preservatives, or stabilizers.

Is gelato the same as ice cream?
No. While they are both frozen desserts, gelato is more intensely flavored,
healthier, and made with fresher ingredients. Gelato has only 6-9% butterfat
while most ice creams contain 15-18% butterfat. It also contains about 1/2
the air that ice cram has.

What is licensing?
Licensing is a business arrangement in which the manufacturer of a product
(in this case, Gelato Gherardini) grants permission to some other group or
individual (you) to manufacture and sell the product in return for a fee or
other payment.

How much does the Gherardini setup cost?
In an existing business, the investment runs between $35,000 and $55,000. Existing
businesses have all the essentials already and only need to purchase the products,
the machines, and the showcase. In a new business, the investment could be
anywhere from $175,000 and $250,000. For the Segafredo coffee and espresso
operation, the cost is approximately $6,000.

Which areas of the United States do you serve?
Our products and setup are nationwide. It doesn't matter which state you plan
to open or add to your business.

Is it possible to see the Gherardini products and the operation
in action?
Yes, our operation is based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Come visit with us for
a day or two and we will show you a few of our existing operations in local
restaurants and cafés. If you decide to sign a contract with Gelato
Gherardini your travel and hotel fees will be reimbursed.

How long does it take for product training?
About a week. A couple days prior to your grand opening (if starting a restaurant
or cafe, otherwise, as soon as possible) our personnal will come to your location
for training. We will stay through the grand opening to assist and about two
days after for continued support. A training manual will be left behind for
furthur study or questions.
